Beginning and Continuing Wu/Hao Taijiquan Class

Mondays, 9:30am-11:00am
Ongoing. Students of all levels welcome.

Wu/Hao is taught one posture at a time, at the student's pace, with an intensive focus on fundamentals of movement. Wu/Hao is a starting point for anyone interested in the art of taijiquan. Beginning students will start learning principles and fundamentals essential for taiji, starting with lower body control. They will continue through the form, posture by posture at their own pace.

Wu/Hao is an understated, tranquil, meditative style, with small steps and subtle movements that disappear into formlessness and appear ordinary. It fosters mind method: internal focus and awareness through a concentration on opening and closing (kai-he).
